# Iso11783IL\_OPSelectColorMap

## Function Syntax

```plaintext theme={null}
long Iso11783IL_OPSelectColorMap( dword colorMapID ); // form 1
long Iso11783IL_OPSelectColorMap( dbNode implement, dword colorMapID ); // form 2
```

## Description

The function selects a color map object. A **Select Color Map** command is sent to the Virtual Terminal.

## Parameters

* **colorMapID**: object ID of the color map objects
* **implement**: Simulation node to apply the function.

## Return Values

* **0**: function has been executed successfully
* **\< 0**: an error has occurred, see [error codes](../../../CAPLfunctionsISOj1939ErrorCodes.md)

## Example

```
