# Iso11783IL\_OPShowObject

## Function Syntax

```plaintext theme={null}
long Iso11783IL_OPShowObject( dword objectID, dword show ); // form 1
long Iso11783IL_OPShowObject( dbNode implement, dword objectID, dword show ); // form 2
```

## Description

The function shows or hides an object. The **Show Object** command is sent to the Virtual Terminal.

## Parameters

* **objectID**: object ID of the object to show or hide
* **show**:
  * 1: show object
  * 0: hide object
* **implement**: Simulation node to apply the function.

## Return Values

* **0**: function has been executed successfully
* **\< 0**: an error has occurred, see [error codes](../../../CAPLfunctionsISOj1939ErrorCodes.md)

## Example
